Take solid and effective steps to cut overcapacity
The Managing Director of The Nusa Dua, I Gusti Ngurah Ardita explained to the media on Monday (2/11), by the end of October 2020, the average room occupancy rate at ITDC reached 8.71%, almost doubled the occupancy rate in September which was only 4.63%. Between 27 to 30 October 2020, The Nusa Dua's average daily room occupancy rate was even higher, from 13% to 23.5%. This figure was the highest so far since the pandemic hit Bali in March 2020. "Since the island reopened for domestic tourist on 31 July 2020, the tourism business at The Nusa Dua has started to improve gradually. We are very grateful for this amazing progress," said Ardita.
29 October 2020 - Bali airport had received more than 6000 domestic tourists in one day (27/10), this is the highest number since the last seven months. Normally, there were about 3000 visitors landed daily in Ngurah Rai International Airport since the island opened its border for domestic tourists on 31 July 2020. So far, things have gone well, even much better than some pessimistic predictions which only 10% raise from the daily visit rates. "We estimate there might be up to 10% increase of domestic tourists will come during the long holiday, compared to the current daily average. But we will see it again later, as there is no significant improvement happened til now, "said Andanina Dyah Permata Megasari, the Communication and Legal Manager of Bali airport earlier on Tuesday (27/10).
Later on that day, the airport recorded 6,305 passengers had arrived via the domestic terminal, by Tuesday evening, 27 October 2020. This number has increased by 25% compared to the number of arrivals on Monday, 26 October 2020, with 5,047 passengers. The flights are mostly dominated from the Jakarta routes, either from Soekarno-Hatta Airport or Halim Perdanakusuma. Tourists from Surabaya, Makassar, and Lombok are also can be found on the island during this holiday season.
Still, according to Andanina, the airport authority has prepared several procedures to anticipate the possibility of delay and cancel flights, due to the bad weather conditions. Furthermore, the number of officers-on-duty have been increased to supervise the implementation of health protocols and promoting #safetravel campaign. They will inspect every area in the airport to encourage people wearing mask, wash hand regularly and keep a safe distance. Bali provincial government also has placed hundreds of officers from the National Search and Rescue Agency (BASARNAS) in several points on the island, Gilimanuk Harbour, Kuta, Legian, Tanah Lot and many more. To avoid traffic congestion, the Bali Transportation Department (Dishub) has assigned hundreds of officers to solve traffic problems that may occur in some areas during the holiday. All of these efforts will be continuously applied until the end of the holiday season on 1 November 2020.

27 October 2020 - The Indonesian Police's Traffic Corps (Korlantas-Polri) is holding the annual "Zebra Operation" for the next two weeks. This operation is scheduled from 26 October to 8 November 2020. Traffic polices on every region in the country, including Bali, will stand-by on the roads and give penalties to those who are not following the rules. Underaged locals are also easily be found riding a scooter while joking around and not wearing helmets. All these and the condition of the roads in Bali are the perfect combination for unfortunate incidents. The number of reported traffic accidents in Bali is 1,350 cases from January 2020 to September 2020; it is a serious problem. To learn about essential information on driving in Bali read here.

In 2007, Apple released the first iPhone: a full touchscreen phone, complete with its own virtual keypad. To many, Apple had done something new, something never seen before. For over two decades I have been writing about the rise of Asia and the dynamic driving it. There is an extraordinary consensus among east Asian leaders that Asia needs to use this window of opportunity to focus on economic development and growth. War is the biggest obstacle to development. If Asians were truly stupid, they would engage in such wars and derail their enormous development promise. Most Asian leaders, barring North Korea, understand well the dangers of war. Hence, while there will be tensions and rivalries in the region, there will be no wars in the region, in 2014 or in 2015. As 2015 unfolds, I would like to encourage all western pundits to understand the underlying Asian dynamic on its own terms, and not on the basis of western preconceptions.
But I know your generation, unlike any other generation in the past, is most eager to look at life differently. So as you leave school, I offer you a list of some obvious-yet-vastly-ignored truths that may help you look at life a little differently than just a series of paychecks:

In 2012, Google introduced Google Glass, a computer you can wear on your face. Someone wearing the glasses can be walking down the street or doing any everyday task while simultaneously seeing an overlay of calendar appointments, messages, and subway alerts. They can make video calls and even upload live videos to the Internet while on the move, without ever needing to use their hands. Google Glass might be cool, it might be new, it might be revolutionary, but it's definitely not the first pair of wearable computer glasses.

Goldie Blox is a toy company on a mission to redefine the “pink aisle” in toy stores. Men dramatically outnumber women in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) education and careers, with girls largely losing interest in these topics by age 8. Goldie Blox toys are designed to inspire future engineers by engaging girls in a way that draws on their strong verbal and storytelling skills — while still offering opportunities to build the skills that can later translate into an interest in engineering. And speaking of opportunity, how does a start-up toy company stand out against the big names that have been dominating the toy space since the beginning of time? In a savvy move, Goldie Blox recently released a video that went viral with their take on the Beastie Boys song “Girls.” Though the video was ultimately taken down, Goldie Blox did an excellent job raising awareness of the need to get more women and girls interested in STEM … and of the Goldie Blox toys.

No. This is possible, of course, but with luck, Mrs May has at least now ensured that the UK is not going to tumble over a “no deal” cliff in 2019. In December 2017, Consensus Forecasts’ prediction for the UK was of 1.5 per cent growth in 2018. Its forecasts for Japan and Italy were even lower, at 1.3 per cent. So the chances that the UK will have the slowest-growing economy in the G7 next year should be around one in four.

The minister has earlier projected that the largest economy in Southeast Asia could see its growth slowing down to 4.70 percent this quarter, from the 4.97 percent pace in the last quarter as the Covid-19 outbreak disrupted China's economy, Indonesia's largest trading partner. The country has so far 34 confirmed cases of the corona, with one fatality which occurred in Bali.

He argues that speculative investment will be driven out of the market as prices fall. He adds that a trend in the industry towards alternative investments should mean that the price of real estate investment trusts rises even if the value of underlying assets grow more slowly. “We don’t think this correction will be so sharp,” he says.
But, despite the incessant warnings from security researchers, many people are still turning to weak, easily guessable passwords to protect their devices.
But that moment, try as Google might, has yet to come. Some reports have named 2014 as the year when wearable devices will hit the mainstream, but a newer study from L2, a digital research firm, confirms what many have been quietly fighting for: wearables are still not socially acceptable, creating a significant hurdle to further sales.

However, 2014 saw signs of large-scale political mobilization on the issue, as more than 300,000 people marched in New York City in September, and tens of thousands more took to the streets in other cities around the world.
The cities of Hefei and Xiamen once again led the pack with growth of 48.6 per cent and 45.9 per cent, respectively.

“The key thing about Friends is that it’s about people working out how they are going to live their lives — what kind of relationships are they going to have, what kind of job, and the difficulties of settling down,” says Mills to the Daily Mail. “You’re engaged in all those questions about escaping from your family, becoming an adult and working out what you want to be.”And that’s one of the key issues in the youth culture of the 1990s.
It is already illegal for employers to discriminate on the basis of race, color, sex, nationality, religion, age, or disability. But a majority of states still don't provide protection to LGBT individuals in the workplace. Apple (AAPL, Fortune 500) CEO Tim Cook wants to put an end to this discrepancy.
